An excursion to the Busan Haeundae Beach
Im SeoHyeon shares her experience of the last student excursion to the Busan Haeundae Beach, one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Korea
"For the fall semester, Busan was the first excursion with the
16th Student Council. Our excursion started at 7:00 am on a
Saturday. 16th Student Council and Student Council Associates helped
with the safety and guided students on Busan excursion. It took 3 hours to
arrive at Busan. After we arrived, we took a group picture in Haeundae.
Haeundae Beach is in the Eastern part of Busan. The weather was nice, so we
took group photos with different views.
We stopped at the SEA LIFE aquarium near Haeundae Beach. We
could see fish, amphibians, and reptiles. Experiencing sea animals leisurely
swimming while walking through a transparent tunnel was interesting and
exciting.
Busan is also famous for seafood and fishcakes. Therefore, we decided to try Michelin restaurant. The restaurant was called “Dimtao”, and we had to wait for 1 hour to get in. We ate soup dumplings, wonton with noodles, and shrimp dumplings. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend “Dimtao” when you visit Busan.
We stayed in Busan for approximately 6 hours, but it was not enough to enjoy it. We arrived at the dormitory around 9:00 pm, and students could go back home safely. Joining the fall semester’s first excursion with 16th Student Council is an opportunity for you to visit a new place in South Korea"
