SolBridge Culture Day 2024: Cultural Evolution
On
October 16, 2024, SolBridge, where students from more than 87 countries study,
hosted a bright and memorable event -
"Culture Day". The theme of this year was "Heritage in Motion,
The Evolution of Nations", and students had an amazing opportunity to show
how traditions and customs have evolved over the centuries, while remaining an
important part of their identity.
In
honor of the 70th anniversary of Woosong University, students from 21 countries
such as South Korea, Belarus, Poland, China, Bangladesh, Brazil, Portugal,
Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Russia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Spain, Indonesia,
Mongolia, Armenia, France, India, Mexico and Kazakhstan demonstrated how their
culture is evolving in response to the challenges of the time.
Our
event was attended by alumni from Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the
Swiss German University, Indonesia. They saw not just a show, but a celebration
of Solbridge, a symbol of how different cultures unite people.
This
year I had the honor of being the representative of Russia at the "Culture
Day", and it was a unique and unforgettable experience. The preparation
for the performance took several months, and the main goal was not only to show
traditional Russian dances, but also to convey to the audience the evolution of
our culture from ancient roots to modern forms. During the event, I felt
immense pride in representing Russia. It was not just a dance - it was a chance
to show that our culture is multifaceted.
"Day
of Cultures" really became a place where everyone could show that, despite
differences, culture can unite people and create bridges between countries and
nations.
