Woosong University Celebrates its Place in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

2024 brings many reasons for Woosong University to celebrate. SolBridge International School of Business, Woosong University’s prestigious business school, earned it’s AACSB re-accreditation in February, and full membership to both the esteemed EFMD (The European Foundation of Management Development) and BGA (Business Graduate Association) – the first step in pursuing accreditations from these prominent accreditation bodies. 

 

Most notably, and for the first time ever, Woosong has stepped into the competitive world of rankings and has earned a place in the THE Impact Rankings. Woosong University has received recognition for its work in promotion Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Reducing Inequalities (SDG 10), Providing quality education (SDG 4), and engaging in partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).

Ranking # 601 – 800, Woosong University is a beacon of excellence in promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3), dedicated to ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages. The university achieved this through cutting-edge research, health initiatives, community engagement, and an innovative curriculum.

Woosong University is committed to reducing inequalities (SDG 10) within its own community and among countries by employing inclusivity policies, providing financial aid and scholarships, increasing and improving diversity and inclusion at all levels, and undertaking impactful research and advocacy. Woosong University ranked # 401 – 600 in this category.

Woosong University (established in 1995) belongs to the Woosong Education Foundation (WEF) which was established in 1954, and currently has over 12,000 students. Woosong University is a specialized university, providing curriculum based on practice and theory. The University has been ranked as an autonomous, top tier university by the Korean Ministry of Education. In addition to the four Korean colleges (College of Railroad Logistics, College of Software Convergence, College of Hotel and Culinary Arts, and College of Health and Welfare), Woosong currently boasts three international schools: Endicott College of International Studies, and JW Kim College of Future Studies, and SolBridge International School of Business.

 

SolBridge International School of Business, a division of Woosong University, is located in Daejeon, South Korea.
