From 5th-10th march, four BBA students had the opportunity to represent SolBridge and participate in the 27th Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) global case competition hosted by the University of Northern Iowa – College of Business, USA.

NIBS is an association of business schools worldwide that supports incorporating global perspective, cultural insight, and international experience into management education. The association currently has more than 70-member institutions in over 30 countries. NIBS case competition has provided unparalleled learning experiences for undergraduate students from across the globe for over 25 years. During the competition, participants tackle real-world international business challenges in a best-on-team tournament, benefiting from unique settings that immerse them in the host country's culture.

Participating for the first time this year, the SolBridge team joined 15 other teams from top universities coming from 13 countries. Working as consultants, the teams quickly developed strategies and solutions (4 hours) to solve real business cases and present their findings to judges.

Against all obstacles, SolBridge team managed to emerge first at the preliminary stage in their division, which consisted of four other universities; however, they lost to Germany's Heilbronn University in the quarterfinals. This is the first time a new university has advanced to the quarterfinals, and we are proud of the team for representing SolBridge and Woosong University well.

Apart from the competition, teams could explore and experience the best of Northern Iowa.
