Asian Case Competition
After weeks of grueling preparation, the final round of the spring 2016 Asian Case Competition was held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
SolBridge students could choose between two case studies: introducing a new wine into the Japanese market or introducing e-education materials for teaching/learning English in China.
In
the end, the team comprised of Temirlan Tiyessov, Aziza Baikhanova, Hsin-Wen
Hsu, and Yu-Huan Chen won
first prize and a trip to China.
Second
place and a trip to Vietnam went to the team of Diana Bekbulatova, Zhanna
Konurbayeva, Kyial Bostonova, and Indira Balabayeva.
Finally,
third place honors went to (Abby) Li Liu, Hae-Sol Hwang, Nam-Hee Cho, and Jiang
Wang.
SolBridge
case competitions provide students with “real” case studies for doing business
in Asia in preparation for the actual business world after graduation.
