This month we recognize Tuan Nguyen, SolBridge alumnus class of 2012 from Vietnam. Tuan is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and board member of Joon Solutions, Vietnam. Joon Solutions is a Data-as-a-Service company enabling businesses to adapt to the digital age by utilizing cloud computing technologies to use their data better.  

Tuan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree majoring in International Finance. While at SolBridge, he participated in several activities such as Case Study Competitions and the Junior Student mentoring program that prepared him for life outside. He was also a supporter of the Vietnamese Ambassador of KBIZ (Korean Federation of Small and Medium Business).

Tuan started his career as a Data Analyst for Dongbu Insurance in Seoul. Working as a Data Analyst, he helped the company analyze its operations in the US to make better decisions. He also worked on an M&A where Dongbu acquired a Vietnamese insurer. In 2016, Tuan moved back to Vietnam and started working at Vingroup, Vietnam's largest private group, as the Head of Data & Analytics. During his five-year term at VinGroup, Tuan worked with Vingroup subsidiaries in many industries such as e-commerce, retail, financial services, and hospitality. He built and led several data teams ranging from 5 to 20 people, helping the group build data platforms and execute its data strategy.
