In Focus
Carl Wavamunno, MBA Student
My name is Carl Wavamunno, from Uganda. I enrolled in the
MBA program at SolBridge during the spring 2016 semester and am currently in my
third semester. The caliber of SolBridge is incomparable to my academic
experience I had while pursuing Bachelor’s. The system at SolBridge is designed
to host a diverse multi-cultural background among students and university
professors, and the curriculum aims to equip students with fundamental skills
to be future business leaders. The education standard at SolBridge is highly
effective with numerous assignments, presentations, and mandatory attendance.
The orientation program prepares international student to
absorb the cultural shock and exposes them to opportunities and challenges they
are likely to face while studying in Korea. I am also very thankful to this
institution for taking the initiative to orient students because without them,
it would have been so difficult to find my way.
The Global Perspective, Asian Expertise, Cross-Cultural
Competence, Creative Management Foundation, and Social Responsibility also
prepares international students to become competent Asian thought leaders.
Furthermore, Asia is triggering towards the world’s economic herb and becoming
a preferred destination for education.
I have enjoyed getting involved in extracurricular
activities which includes utilizing the sport’s facilities: swimming, table
tennis, and basketball. I have also been a part of events like Cultural Day and
Homecoming as well as been a peer group leader and have enjoyed a part-time job
opportunity on campus.
I am grateful to the SolBridge administration for tailoring
this MBA program and attracting International students to be a part of it.
